About Me
Hi! I’m Shelly, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with more than 16 years of experience supporting people with diabetes.
I’ve spent my career working in endocrinology clinics, family medicine offices, and hospital settings, helping people navigate everything from newly diagnosed diabetes to long‑term A1C management. Over the years, I learned something important: people don’t just need information — they need time, support, and a real human connection.
That’s why I started my private practice. I wanted the freedom to slow down, listen fully, and create personalized guidance without rushing through appointments.
My goal is to make nutrition feel practical and realistic, especially for people juggling busy schedules, families, and chronic conditions. Life gets busy, and sometimes you just need someone who can help you build habits that fit your real life, not a perfect one.
I take a kind, compassionate, and analytical approach. I help you understand what’s really going on with your blood sugar, your habits, and your relationship with food.
If you’re looking for support with diabetes, weight loss, or simply feeling more confident and capable with food, I’d love to walk alongside you.
